In 2014 Robert Morris University offered the first Esports scholarship since then 49 States have had a high school esports league. Millions of dollars are won in prize pools each year at tournaments for various games worldwide. Rocket League is a team sport, where your teammate must rapidly acclimate in order for success. Our organization is driven by the hearts of fanbases throughout the entire state of North Carolina. The goal is to provide each school with a chance to prove themselves against each other year after year. This opportunity will intensify these North Carolina collegiate e-sport rivalries and take them to the next level. The upcoming inaugural Carolina Cup will take place in the spring of 2024.
